Coaching Certification

Per Basketball Ontario rules, all head coaches, assistant coaches and team managers that sit on the bench during OBA games must require the following coaching certification:

Under-10 Novice to Under-12 Major Atom:

Head Coach, Assistant Coach & Team Manager – Learn to Train Certification (old Level 1)

 

Under-13 Bantam to Under-19 Junior:

Head Coach – Train to Train Certification (old Level 2)

Assistant Coach & Team Manager – Learn to Train Certification (old Level 1)

 

Annual Police Checks

All Oxford Attack Basketball Club coaches and team managers (that sit on the bench) must also submit a yearly police check to the Oxford Attack Executive.

Coaches that do not have the proper OBA coaching certification can help at Oxford Attack Basketball Club team practices but they must have submitted a current police check to the Oxford Attack Executive prior to helping at practice.
